Access much easier to gain than what we had presumed.
A bit surprising to find out that a house that was supposed to be demolished, and that is anyway unusable gets still electricity.
Looking at the wall, one can surely understand why the house wasn't healthy for its residents...
Storage for dirty clothes. Usually it would be nice if something from the original use would be left for exploration, but this room was better off emptied.
A few rooms in the basement contained junk, more or less related to healthcare.
This stuff goes to category "less related".
6 Volt batteries, are these actually still used somewhere?
Lola, the girl of July - something that was not expected to be found.. From an elderly home!
Time to proceed to the staircase, a green one it is.
Director's office had been fillt with leftovers of city of Lieksa and apparently the board of education.
This is canteen but contents are same as in director's room. Perhaps furniture from another ceased village school.
Arvila's skool ink! Wow!
A few school clocks.
If you compare to the seal of Lieksa, this archer aims to the wrong direction. From which we conclude it's meant to be seen from outside.
Not from a school, but apparently from a kindergarten.
Auxiliary kitchen.
One of the dormitory rooms, very basic since it's been emptied.
I wonder how good the paint was five years earlier, when there were still residents.
Another room lacking anything interesting.
This way.
Entrance to ward number 2 is not too elegant.
This floor has held rooms for medical care. The dormitories seemed to only have been located on bottom floor.
Storage for stuff I cannot translate. I don't even know what exactly they are.
One more floor to check.
Here on top there is an elevator engine - strictly locked. Airsoft users have marked areas forbidden for games with taped crosses and this floor was among them.
Windows have been covered - not because they're broken, but probably to create better conditions for airsoft games. Considering they have arranged games here, the place is very well kept. No broken glass, no plastic balls or other unoriginal than these cardboards.
:)
Emergency stop - err, no, but emergency button anyway.
