1. Basins (in Front of The Pumphouse)
colourline

The plant in the distance as seen from our entering direction. We just ignored golf players at the field adjacent to the plant. We can only make guesses about what they thought about two young guys dressed in overalls and helmets walking towards a ruin area on a hot summer day. (probably the truth: nutcases)
Basin number one seen from behind the area.
Basin number one from closer range. Wild vegetation surrounded everything.
A concrete water duct covered by large tiles connected the basins and the pumphouse to each other. Many of the tiles had been smashed so it wasn't much help for walking anymore.
Peek into a maintenace well revealed that there was some still water in some sections of the duct. Luckily, it didn't smell like it did in original use.
Basin number two was to the east of the duct.
What the heck, there's water in there! Since it had been boiling summer weather for weeks, it wasn't definitely rain water in there. The explanation for this strange observation came later. Gold field next to the plant uses the basins as reservoirs for watering their grasses.
Folks had been brave and they'd performed some monkey tricks in order to write their tags to a cool and surely visible place. The beam cannot be written onto any other way but by climbing on top of it. It's narrow, and fall down to the bottom of the basin is several meters. There would also be no way to get up from the bottom without help. I wouldn't say it was worth the danger and effort.
A look towards the golf field from the edge of basin 2.
Two years later something has changed. Scraper beams have been removed. Also the graffiti has been cleaned, and since entering the basin is no longer possible, the golf players can now admire a clean view of the former shit plant.. What kind of idiot is in charge of funding the graffiti cleaning events? Was there really nothing more important to clean??
Still looking at basin 2.
The beam is interlinked to a concrete cylinder in the middle of the basin. The sludge scrapers hanging from the beams were already missing from all the basins.
Should you have wanted, here would've been the way to climb the beam.
Looking straight towards middle.
Basin number one.
