As far as we know there are not many really abandoned power stations in Finland (if only it wasn't so..). But we've come across a few targets where the main sight has been a power station producing heat, electricity or both. Usually they have been related to some industrial facility but that facility has either been demolished or taken to some completely new use.

Kuusankoski, Kymenlaakso. Paper mill's steam boiler station.
LEHMUSKYLÄ
Mikkeli, Etelä-Savo. District heating station.
PALOHEIMO
Riihimäki, Kanta-Häme. Industrial and district heating power station.
SAIRIONRANTA
Hämeenlinna, Kanta-Häme. Heat station of a plywood factory.
SIURO
Nokia, Pirkanmaa. Artsy water power station.
