The wooden shack that was about to collapse has collapsed either by itself, or then with some little help.
The place is well known to the graffiti scene and local kids. As we where taking this picture, a crew of boys from the hood came wondering what we're photographing, is it the graffitis?
Power station.
This corner of the mill was the front end of the factory back in the days, now it has trees growing in front of the doors.
View from the path which leads to the factory yard. The nice square chimney, the sawdust storage and on the roof the "hoover".
Same as above, but also the southern side of the factory shown. |
Same building but from a bit different direction.
View from southern side. The new furniture mill is somewhere close to where the photographer stands. The flora has been left to grow in peace. |
Too dark, the low storage buildings seen through a factory "window". |
Raiztlin between the main building (left) and smaller storage rooms (right). Check just how near new apartment houses the
area actually is. |
Violator and the heavy duty doors of the main building. |
Factory wall seen from the power plant's northern entrance. |
Yepp, it's decayed. |
Not the best shot, it's a power line hatch near the bypassing road. |
Same as above, now outside. |
Storage/production building. No need to use doors.
These storages seem to be out of use too, but it seems that no-one (not even us=) has invaded them yet.
Nice limu graffiti in the smaller building.
There's this maintenance tunnel between then the two buildings. It's easily accessed with stairs.
End of the tunnel.
According to the DM's chemical analysis section this substance is dangerous indeed, but still there's this full can of it lying loose in this tunnel. Some kid's blindness, death etc. caused by eating this would be quite a case for Visuvesi OY too.
