Winter time match factory seen from the street Tikkutehtaankatu.
Around the latest turn of a Millennium the yard held numerous old trucks.
Recent cleanings have shook the decadence feel of the yard. It's starting to belong to civilised world again. The photo quality is weak because it had to be taken instantly, before the blue parachute disappeared behind the bushes.
Earlier there were things like Sisu Kontio trucks around. Old advertisement of the truck repair business stands on the wall.
Yep yep..
Some exotic truck make.
This house is so near the factory that it has to belong to it in some way. Possibly a caretaker's house.
In a good old factory spirit there has been a guarded gate with guard's booth. Today it feels strange that such a smallish facility has needed it, but in a factory owned by OTK everything must've been different.
A short smoke stack has survived to our days as a part of the power station.
The ventilation shaft's top has some very interesting details.
Main entrance seems like it was at the wrong side at the end of the road in the bushes.
Raiztlin checking around. Notice the unbroken windows. Millennium has been tough for the factory, especially its' windows.
Our very first photo of the place ever.
Same subject some years later. State of disorder has taken over.
A concrete bridge has been used to transport stuff between the factory's upper floor and the storage.
Found iron balls again. Still wondering, what exactly are they?
Before they demolished Tampereen Höyrypuuseppä Oy's carpentry factory, it was possible to see the match factory from its roof.
This strictly closed building has iron bars protecting the windows. Probably a storage for sulphur or matches, or both.
Maybe a fire station or just garage has been here.
Factory yard and behind it the dockyard of Santalahti.
