A weak attempt to shoot overview picture from the main wing with a super compact cam.
Same as above. The sawing line.
Middle of the sawing line.
The line on the left leads outside and used to lift logs in. The machine is a drivable, sawyer's back-breaker type log carriage.
The same place, logs going through this line were still untouched.
A look out to the sea and the log conveyor. There's a straight and easy access to the rafting place via the sidewalk, but walking it today wouldn't be wise.
This is the smaller wing. The logs supporting the roof have been inserted there later and display activity of the owners. The place is being looked after.
Timber-carry-away place again.
Same place, now looking to the bigger wing. The window looks to the blade sharpening shop. Behind the red brick wall is the old power station.
A workshop for sharpening the saw blades and other maintenace work in the main sawmill wing. The only signs of curious visitors were here: fuckshitbitch texts, a pentagram and other typical nasty drawings :) On the left and right side of the door you can see tens of saw blades.
Before our first visit to Strömma, we hadn't seen saw blades in _any_ of the sawmills we checked, but here in the sharpening shop there's a myriad of blades.
Still there.
Stuff for fixing up the belt driving of the machines!
