Orivesi's Quarrying Areas
colourline

Raiztlin sipping on some ooooold Koskenkorva on a rusty steel platform near the booth. This corner is part of an open pit area.
The spray can held here was picked up from the area, but just guess who brought it here in the first place.
Raiztlin and old junk. The Mobil-barrel had still some oil in it.
Violator, wondering whether or not to jump under the bypassing train quite near to a booth. The train was honking loud as f--k while this was shot, the driver probably thought it's gonna be another bloody suicide.
Raiztlin in front of the booth. Nice isn't it??
Violator and our nowadays legendary exploration car, which was all new then.
A rather weird photo of Violator in front of the booth.
Newer pic, comeback to the area during our "let's go back to nowhere special" tour in june 1999.
Graffiti in '99. Someone's bothered to paint a wall that probably less than 50 persons see during a year. The other side of the wall is different then, it's next to railroad. Maybe these were training pieces.
A gravel elevator in southside Orivesi. This is on the top of the system, you can see the trapdoors for filling the silo.
This is a maintenance entrance at the top of the gravel elevator. It's been built inside rock, at the edge of a steep mountain so on one side the roof is at ground level whereas on the other side it's maybe 400-500 feet above the silo's floor. As you can see we've been here before.. The door was locked again soon after 'somebody' broke in, so by the time this picture was taken we couldn't continue inside, but maybe we'll do that later.
This is the same place seen from the other side. Too bad the tagged doors were cleaned up just some time before shooting the pic.
Military area warning, the road leads to an anti-aircraft testing area. It's very close to an old gravel pit.
Near the military area, another this kind of area. A bit too dark.
Jump!
Same place and some dangerous hanging near the edge.
Sun's rising.
"city of Mänttä after WW3; the nuclear scuffle".
The same place as above once again, it's very nice I think.
