Dressing room for harsh workers, I guess. This is under the sawmill hall, basement level isolated from the timber hall.
Power was produced in the plant, but this is a connection room in the basement under the sawmill.
In the sawmill now. A sawing machine from 1950's.
The sawing machine and stairs reminding of modern industrial interior. Because the mill was relatively new, there are no antique machines or constructions here.
Chip conveyor in the background. Sawing waste was burned in the plant.
Yikes. Above the huge spacey area there's been a second platform but it's fallen down. Whoever comes here walks on it. The new skool sawmill element, control room is up there but doesn't look very well attached any more.
This is shot somewhere near the monitoring booth, but not from under it, guess why. The steel ladders lead to nowhere, and some of the still standing wooden platforms should be avoided as they look really weak.
The big hall again, wonder what kinda disaster has caused this collapse.
This place is safer. It appears that our film was too slow.
Here's a sawing machine's root, but the machine is gone. Somehow they've managed to remove the machine without breaking the surrounding constructions totally. Perhaps the collapsation of upstairs has something to do with the removal..
Among all the junk you can find a complex rail system from the floor. Since the sawmill had a rather big timber output capacity it needed an efficient material handling system.
