| 3. Shoe factory |
Once upon a time the shoe factory has been burglary alarmed.
But now, practically all windows were broken. Graffiti writers of Lappeenranta seem to be very aggressive in finding indoor painting locations. They had invaded these buildings soon after the factory left. A lot of tags advocating painting to abandoned places were written around the place.

Garage in the basement.
The basement was flooding and the cans had frozen to the floor. It was also impossible to open some doors.
Possibly the former social premises of shoe factory.
The Hell machine uncovered.
A sign by the entrance guided visitors to the recycling center.
Entrance told what was to be inside. Tags and graffiti again.
Amount of graffiti was only a fraction of that in the felt factory. Still, there was quite a lot of it.
This (shoe?) wagon didn't look like a heavy product, but anyway it was made in Wärtsilä's machine workshop in Jakobstad.
A birdie being recycled.
Strange graffiti on second floor; I.

Door to personnel only area. No infiltration required any more, it was accessible from another side.
Recycling propaganda =)
Attic was equipped with a cable crane.
Random attic finds: Kuomiokoski Oy is still today active and continues to produce shoe inserts and various parts for shoes. One of their customers was this felt shoe factory.
These could be from Kuomiokoski.
Threads and that kind of stuff.

Some "artist" has commented this painting.
