So far the mill in Rokkala, traditional industrial and residential area in Northern central of Mikkeli can only be admired from outside. Future will possibly hold some closer inspections.

 

dm-seko-mli_rokkalamylly1 Mill as seen from Myllykatu - because of the street's name you could suspect a mill has been at this place for very, vey long time. But that's not fact, just a guess, and anyway this particular mill is not very old.
dm-seko-mli_rokkalamylly3 Not a large mill, only two storeys in full.
dm-seko-mli_rokkalamylly4 Not boarded windows are towards the Rokkalankoski stream. Local rock throwers guild may have a lot to do with the need for boarding the other ones.
dm-seko-mli_rokkalamylly2 Surprisingly no windows are broken here. Maybe they're too near and don't provide real challenge for throwing.
