Rilke Ky was established in Rauma soon after WWII and it still exists, although the name has disappeared from new media and practically exists only in history. Founder of Rilke specialized in explosives and related technology, thus one business area was civil engineering, involving blasting rock. They also had a machine workshop that produces electromechanical appliances.

Close to the central city of Rauma there was a smallish industrial building, that surely wasn't the main production facility of Rilke, but it may have been the head office. Last use for this heavily constructed, residential house-resembling building was a youth recreation center. This use naturally renewed the interiors totally, so there was nothing left to see of the original factory by 2005, when the place had been abandoned. Thanks to super active vandals there was quite a mess inside, which at least guaranteed some variance.
