Tammerkesti was a lunch restaurant of Hankkija-company, located a bit southeast from the downtown in Tampere city. The restaurant itself wasn't used for some time before the destruction of building, but some firms had activity in the building anyway. In october 1999, the place was demolished. That's when these pics were taken. A year earlier the adjacent grain silos of Hankkija were destroyed, and together with the restaurant an office building of same company. Today the place is full of modern condos and a domestic 7-11 shop and kebab restaurant serve their residents. A happy ending (?).

The place was checked while the demolition process had just begun, so it was easy to enter though had to be done by night time. Some glasses were broken and inside roof was partially ripped open from upstairs, doors were removed but otherwise it was still in original shape.
