Log sorter is growing wild so that it's almost beautiful.
The sawmill rises behind the sorter, looking so fine.
When approaching the power station there comes trouble. "warning: tanks" and other strange details tell that the place must be occupied. Actually only the planing mill is.
Many scrap cars, or perhaps project cars?
Lada with tuning tyres.
This looked a bit suspicious. Should the building be entered at all, even if no-one was around?
Well, it looked too neat to bail out. So in we go.
The smoke stack is situated several meters away from the power station. There is a truck drivable route between these structures.
Right behind the main entrance of power station stands the boiler, probably unused for decades and its large shutters.
Quite nice. This shutter was cast in Mänttä, G.A. Serlachius' machine workshop.
The power station doesn't look like it was built in the very beginning of 20th century. However, according to the sawmill bible, it was.
A lamp, which would be just great if the bulb wasn't so typical.
Windows to the fuel feeding platform.
Hanomag-Kessel
Beware of the oven.
Products of Valmet's instrument factory have showed what goes in the process. But there's one thing we didn't find from here: the turbine and generator, bought here from Reposaari, Pori. Something to be cleared out later; were they missing, or were we just blinded by the summer sun?
Fine details you won't find today..
Manufacturing plate of Tampella looks also so good.
It's Hanomag again.
The heavy, riveted water tank looks like it was originally a fire tube boiler. Maybe it was later converted to this use?
This is one the places where vandalism hasn't been, and won't be a problem. Nearest small town is several kilometers away and the area is still partially used. So these walls will stay clean.
Insulations and a valve. From this place we couldn't get any pumps to the picture! However, there is a slice of a pipe.
