| 2. Visit inside |

The building is split into many departments without possibility to walk through. This basement is among the smallest corners to check, with a window planked from inside as the main sight. Strange sight it is.
Power station is accessible but fillt with so much junk it's hard to walk there.
Boiler is almost fully present.
Boiler's maker leads to home of industry, Tampere. Osakeyhtiö Sommers af Hällström & Waldens has cast the iron parts.
Pipes have been removed in order to make space to store junk.
This part of the station contained a water reservoir.
Not a grenade, but the shadow of a float switch in the water reservoir.
Attic of the garage contained a whole lot of uninteresting junk, and birds totally unwilling to move away from the only possible walking path among the junk. This fellow just sat regardless of the apparent danger and attempts to scare it away.

Old style neon signs have been transfered to weather shelter. Apparently they just couldn't decide which language should be first in the abbreviation, so there are both versions: PL-ÖK and ÖK-PL. These would look cool if installed somewhere, but where? The new owner of the estate, Atr¡a, is probably not interested.

In the main staircase of the slaughterhouse you can find a traditional clock card machine and card slots for 50 people. This should give an estimate of the number of labour the slaughterhouse had at best times.
Elevator's engine room is totally accessible.
According to the maintenance log, the lift a.k.a elevator was decommissioned in September 1988. After they closed it, production cannot have continued as earlier so we suppose this is the closing time of the slaughterhouse as well.
Early 1980's clock cards tell that they mostly worked 7 am to 4 pm here.

Aarne Lahti of Helsinki has produced temperature meters.
This freaky place, the slaughterhouse's main cellar was our only forehand info. A rumour told that lights would've functioned here years after the place was closed for good.
Chambers of death, the freezers were locked for some reason. And maybe it was just better that way.
Keeping the freezers cold has required quite some apparatuses.
In addition to cold, heat has also been required.

Stone, Finland's leading edge trash metal band from 1980's is favored in many graffitis in abandonments. So also here.
Main slaughtering halls were left unchecked. Too many locked doors prevented going there, so it was time to continue the journey through mist.
