The slaughterhouse is a bit hard to find, since it's surrounded by freely growing bushes. For some reason there is this sign by the street, but it's useful only if you understand the meaning of the abbreviation.
A pleasant surprise waits after going the road for only some 100 meters.. Chimney it is.
Yep, this is the place. The short smoke stack belongs to the power station, and is accompanied by a very interesting looking steel pipe installation.
Obviously not an active building.
Doors are closed and windows are correctly boarded - mostly. You would think vandalism is not very active in a town small as this, but that's not quite the case. The closed train station for instance was in terrible shape, until they recently started to renovate it.

Power station and next to it apparently a garage, which serves also today as a garage but for different vehicles.
Cooling apparatus.

The main slaughterhouse, approximated construction time 1950's.
Without any certain knowledge of the location it was unclear whether this actually was the slaughterhouse we were looking for - but the text on the roof confirmed this was the right place. So nice of them to leave it there.

The buildings form an L-shape totality.
After reconing, time to go around to the courtyard.
At this side the place started to feel too occupied for expeditions. Project cars, trailers etc. around the yard told of new users.
Loading platform's roof extension, which must gather tons of snow.
Former office and canteen wing has been protected with quite strange arrangements: all kinds of grills, apparently anything that was available, have been attached over the windows.
Canteen's door has been closed for quite a while.

Because of the fact there were people in the building, we had to delay going in. The car tuners finally left after midnight, but they left lights on inside. They also returned to cruise the yard with extra low speed a couple of times, which hints that maybe they were suspicious after seeing a DM representative checking the place earlier. Had they bothered to get out of the car, there would've been a theoretical chance to actually see something.
Night, and we are back for more.
No open windows or doors meant that some extra effort had to be seen in order to get in.
