| 5. The Sawmill of Hakkeenpää, Taivassalo |
Taivassalo is a small municipality in southwestern archipelago Finland. The sawmill was built in early 1900's on a medieval harbour and operated till 1980's. Now the place serves tourism and archipelago residents, the sawmill exists but has new users and there's nothing to see. Except for the smoke stack, which is original unlike the sawmill itself which has been re-built.
Mun on ihan pakko tähän väliin mainita että hakkenpäässä on hemmetin hyvin nimetty kapakki, meinaan Sahan Saluuna jossa soi rentto musiikki, esim. Irwin Goodman!
