5. Early & Rokkala years

It began here about a hundred years ago. In the beginning the dairy produced butter and naturally milk.
Nowadays this building by Tenholankatu is in quite secondary use. Good thing is that it hasn't vanished, though.

In January 1983 the dairy celebrated the 50 millionth produced kilogram of cheese. The hall where this was shot is now abandoned and tagged.

City has been lazy updating the map by the main street of the city. It still guides to the dairy closed a decade ago. As a mitigating circumstance goes, that the marked destination is a smaller building, which actually still has some kind of milk producers' office.
