The combined sawmill-mill of Mikkola estate is located in Haurukylä, a village in former municipality of Temmes. The village is countryside, idyllic as it can get complete with a small stream flowing by. Same goes for the sawmill/mill. The building has been restored in 1980's, and it's state is highly similar to what it was some 70 years ago, when last renovations for operation were done. The building is actually situated at the backyard of a summer time residence and since it also is a kind of museum, it's really not abandoned.
