| 3. True underground |
True underground is located below the silos. If it was war and the adjacent railway station was bombed, a space right under these heavy structures wouldn't seem like the safest possible place, but anyway, they placed an air-raid shelter there.

A hardcore-writers dream. Your tag in a place way too high for anybody else to climb, and in such a visible place! Owners of these marks must have participated in one of the rappelling events here, but why were they let to tag on the wall, remains totally inconceivable.
Couple of years later the tags were overrun by commercials.
Now to underground. It had been closed well for quite a while, but the long wait was eventually rewarded.

Recent use of this room had been a one man's accommodation. It could well be, that Mikkeli's second most famous person (after Cola-Olli), a homeless whose name shalt not be mentioned, had his residence here before moving to happier squatting grounds.
Whoever was the person living here, had it quite well. Functional lights, free electricity and music.
The anarchist handwriting reveals that the same person who'd produced most textual output in the mill had also visited teh UG.
A device familiar for us all, apparently from the times of Eräkuru 's events.
There is also older stuff to be digged through here. The city, being the owner of the estate has stored junk in some rooms.
Before closing, there was milling. These papers are from that era.
The water container was transferred here from Haapajärvi?
When proceeding, there are weird structures preventing normal comfortable walking. What is that about?
It took a while to understand that there's actually some kind of agility track in the basement, made of old pallets and other scrap.
Weird.. Is that a first price for the fastest dog or something?
The true underground is here.
This room was furnished for longer sessions. Psychedelic colours, candles, carpets, blankets etc.
Seems that Hare Krishna-related litarature has belonged to readings of Mikkeli UG youth in the 1990's.
Way out. But now a dead end.
