4. Milling & food manufacturing interior, pt. I
colourline

A spiral staircase aside the silos is the only way down from the top, since the elevator refused to reply to button presses. It's probably done so a long time before closing, so dated it looked out. The stairs continue to descend for atleast 30 meters without a pause, so you'll probably feel dizzy from going in circles when arriving to the lower platform.
The factory and milling area has two main platforms. We arrived to the lower one of them. These funnels are behind the doorway to the production halls.
Same corner, tanks.
These channels are dug to the floor. And looks like this is what it's all about here, big blades crushing grain.
The chemistry-oriented section of the DM wanted to capture the text of this sack of some special stuff...
The news said that only about 20 people got unemployed when this site was closed. First it's hard to believe such a massive plant could be run with so few people, but then, there's nothing much to do by hand in the halls, and even less in the silos, which take most of the space in the huge area. However, this hall has some control central booths where the few people working in shifts hung out at. I guess.
Another control booth. It is very reeky also here. One of the contras in working here has definitely been the smell!
A panel inside the booth which seems to have control on almost the whole productive section.
Maybe that's a milling machine in the middle?
This section is confusing with ladders, platforms, conveyors, pipes, cable lines and machines.
If I recall correctly this is a dosing machine.
Same subject.
The dosing machine has a big screw without a cover.
Switching panels for the same machines.
Catwalks, platforms, conveyors..
Really mystical device. It needs pressurized air, electricity, and creates something.
