Tuko-Maatalous grain-drying facility, Lapua
colourline

Glare over Osterbothnic lands

Lapua's railway station neighborhood has not looked too uplifting around the turn of the Millennium. Unused buildings have been located on both sides of the railway. Eastern side of the station area is occupied by buildings formerly used for receiving, drying and storing grain. Nowadays they mainly serve as storages for farming machine stores.

Original user of the now-abandoned grain-drying facility is apparently cooperative store OTK. Later owners include at least Tuko-(T) Maatalous, whose logos are still on the wall and on top of the tower. The place must have been unused for at least 15 years.
