| Kaukajärvi manor house, Tampere |

The manor house on a steep hilltop at Northern side of the lake Kaukajärvi, in Eastern Tampere was demolished around 1980's. After manor house era, the estates were emptied and bought by the city, who owns the place also today. Therefore it's perfectly legal to go and see the ruins, since the area is basically a city park.

This nice wood path leads to the ruins from civilization, which in this case means a grocery store. Trip is short, less than half a kilometer, but the atmosphere changes dramatically. |

Strange find from the otherwise totally detail-lacking environment. A bottle that is probably from the time the house was still a manor house. |

There are still some small inside spaces available, atleast here. Small masoned basement hasn't been suitable for burning in local ovens. |
