Locomotive shed and water tower have been built together.
From the corner the water tower looks like a typical water tower.
Old style brick figures decorate the tower.
This turntable has been used still in 1980's, manpowered. Now it lacks some essential parts.
Having been unused for maybe two decades, the shed is in terminal condition.
Or any other thoughts?
Nicely moss-growing wall behind the shed.
Due to the fallen roof, you need to use an alternative entrance.
Nice thing is that the roof has fallen so completely that it's safe to walk in the locomotive shed.
Ceiling of the multi-storey part looks better.
Too narrow to be a crawlspace, but some kind of channel goes between the tracks anyway.
Obviously a train pulled by locomotive Dr12 has modelled for this attitude educational drawing from 1970's.
More stuff about security. Generally danger at train yards and railways is caused by: trains!!!
Perhaps this reflector belongs to some famous locomotive model?
A directive for route section Tampere-Seinäjoki from 1969?? Of course, it just refers to a completely different route section than the one called Tampere-Seinäjoki today (which didn't exist in 1969).
Spark plug of Tk3. :)
Inviting pair of doors calls to go and check the water tank department.
Heating oven looks typical for train water towers.
But what are these small pieces of wood, tied to groups with wire that fillt almost the entire room?
A couple of dark rooms come next when ascending.
The topmost room is reserved for the tank, which isn't too picturesque.
So we will go directly to the roof.
Looks like there was a flagpole here, but they removed it.
Soon the roof will grow woods, unless it's forced down earlier.
Nice Autumnal view opened to all directions.
When admiring the turntable from the tower, a black creature suddenly crossed the yard. From this we can also see clearly, that there is a third track that doesn't lead to the locomotive shed, but to a dead end with stopper.
