| 2. Trip part 2 |
This staircase has modern doors.
Another room with lights but no original machines. It's a shame that the place is so much emptied from the stuff that once was there, since it otherwise is highly original due to lack of vandalism.
Shaft below large yellow funnels.
Close the door.. Wherever you go, always this same ol' story.. And very often, they haven't closed all the doors like they should. =)
I don't suppose this button did anything in response to a press.
Room where milling equipment was not removed. Nice.
Spiral conveying channels and those large "cabinets" in the middle of the mill.
Perhaps something to do with adjusting the milling process?
Peek doors to silos 7, 8.
Katko - what a name for a switch manufacturer.
OBS had tagged about everywhere. Generally there were very little tags, and most of them were probably made by Mediamylly-visitors. Actually, there were even unused spray cans at the Mediamylly-quarters.
It says clearly what this machine is about, otherwise I would have no idea.
Rare find - a bird skeleton not covered by excrement and feathers. Neatest corpse I've ever encountered in places.
Boiler room was warm and lights functioned. Funny that they leave these places like this..
Sprinkler valve.
There are a few of these rooms called "toxic storages". Sounds serious. They were all locked so we couldn't check what toxics SOK have abandoned here.
The elevator is out of order. It is of the older type.
Finally it's time to leave. View from North, behind the new dull silos. Small businesses have moved to these sections of the former mill.
Gas station, a car repair shop and the trucks disturb badly the view to the mill, which would be very cool from this angle or a bit more left.
View to the front yard. There were scaring notes about camera surveillance and stuff, but I'd suppose they were just notes.
