Ironworks in Billnäs (Pinjainen), Pohja (Pojo)
colourline

The irownworks in Billnäs started operating in 1641. Present buildings are from different times, oldest of them from 18th century. While some buildings serve metal indystry still today, most of the premises are in different use. The area is under constant development, and will probably be different tomorrow than today. There aren't many buildings suitable for inside expeditions, but a quick look at the area is available.

Similar to the monument in Dalsbruk, an old iron manufacturing machine has also been preserved in here. However, this is not a roller but a tilt hammer.
Smoke stack that should be repaired, I'd say.
Manufacturing forges.
Very idyllic industrial alley. Attic of the right hand hall belonged to birds. This hinted that maybe the other storeys were not so very used either. But we didn't stay for further inspections because there were people all around preparing some upcoming happening.
Just in case, a shot towards the roof and possible entrances..
The rapids split ironworks area into two zones.
The dam is classical but totally operating and needful because...
This museum power station continues to produce commercial electricity for Fortum.
Overview to the buildings already shown earlier.
The arc roofed building is quite large.
