Kappelinmäki cemetery, Tampere
colourline

Cemeteries are atmospheric, but typically not something to adventure at. But Kappelinmäki is not just another boneyard: first, last residents were buried here in 1960's, so even though it's not abandoned it's rather unused. More importantly, who were buried here: incurable patients from the nearby mental institution Pitkäniemi. That should be enough to explain why the place is interesting.

Entrance is via an aged gate. Fences are mostly missing.
