A few questions and our official answers.
Who is behind this site? The Spivey Point crew DM consists of Raiztlin da Alchemist and Violator a.k.a Blacksmith of Destiny. We come from Finland and are products of 1970's.
Why does this site exist? It's a hobby to maintain a website, that's all. Perhaps some people will find some of this stuff useful.
What is Spivey Point and who is Blake? Waters off Spivey Point is where Captain Blake and his crew followed a false fire during heavy fog on April 21st, 1880. Their ship crashed against the rocks, and the wreckage sank with all the men aboard. (it is fiction.)
What is DM? Dungeon Master, Depeche Mode, Death Metal, etc. Also very, very long time ago it was our joke computer group Demomazterz . Nowadays it is definitely just DM.
Are you graffiti writers? No. We're against vandalism. Graffiti in extremely dull places, like under concrete bridges is okay though.
What are your ethics in going to places? Don't steal anything valuable. Taking useless things, like old papers in small amounts is ok. Don't break anything unless totally mandatory. Breaking old houses is karmic action.
How long have you been into hobby of abandoned places? Always interested, but actively going to them since about 1995.
Is going to abandoned places legal in Finland? Not really, but if you don't touch anything it's hard to see anything really illegal in the hobby.
Page <xxx> is password protected! What's up with that? For a reason or another, the target report has been considered better off restricted from unmonitored visits. Since the link is there, it's nothing top secret, so you may ask the password with e-mail.
Why do the texts contain some $trang€ly written names? Due to certain clashes with some firms, we've mistyped several business names on the pages to fool search engines.
